Loom Meeting
Next Thursday the 27th, is the 4th Thursday of the month. Are we keeping to that schedule? It should work for me. We met at 3:00 last time, but I would be ok meeting a little earlier so we have more time for out project.
Speaking of which, I was thinking we would do a stitch sampler. Anyone game for that? I'm also very eager to teach you the socks I've been making. They take quite awhile, but I was thinking we could make one on the flower loom first. If you don't have one & don't want one, I will lend you one of mine. There really isn't much you can do with it.
I have 2 blue looms outside of the sets available for purchase. I will be adding some additional freebies with my loom sets so keep me in mind when you want to purchase them. I have 2 long loom sets for the same retail price I see everywhere else: $20 (tax included and no gasoline to pick one up). I do have some individuals also. I think I have 2 round loom sets available. They are $19 for the loom group. Don't forget this includes instruction, extra needles & hooks and I am currently getting some yarn samples available to Orange Loomers exclusively.
Let's get looming!!

Road trip to AC Moore
Elousie was good enough to let us know about the yarn sale in Fredericskburg. I was thinking we could make a road trip out of it if some of us were going to be going anyway. We could save on some gas, more money for yarn!
My schedule is fairly open.

My latest project

Hi all,
My latest project was a special order newborn hat & booties set. I had no clue how to go about the booties. I had some patterns, but none for the loom I wanted to use which was the DA wonderloom in extra small gauge. It took me about 7 hours of time to make the booties that I was satisfied with. The don't have a heel, more like a tube sock. I will try a heel pattern next. I also did one on the blue KK, but it was a bit big stitch wise for a new born. I hope they like it.

Setting a real date to meet
I guess I would like us to set a certain day & time for us to meet up. I know that if I have something planned, it's much easier to stick to. I'm fairly flexible in my times. I know a few of you have time restrictions. If someone can't meet on the set date, we can make some alternative plans.

New loom knitting group
Hi all,
I am starting a loom knitting group. If you are interested contact me with your best days & times to meet.
We will be starting off with a very simple hat to learn the basic stitches. I thought we would do a different project everytime we meet. I have Knifty Knitter looms available for purchase & have instructions available. All you need to bring is yourself & your yarn of choice. Mine is alpaca of course. I do have some Cameron Mountain alpaca yarn in limited amounts, so if you would like to try some please let me know.
