Hi all,
I am starting a loom knitting group. If you are interested contact me with your best days & times to meet.
We will be starting off with a very simple hat to learn the basic stitches. I thought we would do a different project everytime we meet. I have Knifty Knitter looms available for purchase & have instructions available. All you need to bring is yourself & your yarn of choice. Mine is alpaca of course. I do have some Cameron Mountain alpaca yarn in limited amounts, so if you would like to try some please let me know.

I can meet most anytime on Thursdays or Fridays or afternoons on Wednesdays. I am looking forward to being able to join your group.
Thank you,
Ellouise
Great, I'll see what we can come up with.
I would love to do this. I think you are the same one I met at the Farmer's Market. My husband and I would (one day) love to raise alpaca. Unfortunately right now we can't. I'm very interested in knitting, especially with alpaca fleece. I hope to learn how to spin one day. I work M-F till 5pm and right now I am working W and F nights. I won't be done with that until probably June. I can certainly do most weekends.
Thanks,
Brandy
I think I will go down to NTSOG this Friday or Saturday night depending on who might like to join me. My hubby is out of town & I thought that maybe some of you might like to join me. Not a real meeting, but I will bring my looms & alpaca yarn & such. I'll send out an email.

Looks like it's Friday. I'll be there 6:30 or 7ish in the back room.
Hope to see some of you there.

Met up with Carolyn & Elloise at NTSOG last night. Got them started on a hat project. Can't wait to do more projects.
Anyone who is interested, I will be out at my barn working on fiber projects this afternoon & probably tomorrow afternoon as well. Whenever the open flags are flying we are open for barn tours.
We are located on Rt 20, 2 miles south of James Madison's Montpelier. We are on the right. Can't miss us. The house & barn both have bright red roofs. If you do miss it you can turn around at the Somerset Store. If you are coming from the other direction, you will see us way before you get to the driveway.
Merian, I would definitely like to start my first project using some of your alpaca yarn, fyi. Sorry I missed you Friday night. I'll be there next time for sure.
Thanks!
Gerilee
